I thought you might be interested in this because I was looking into the fact that the moon has a decaying orbit and if the universe was 4 billion years old then it could not have stayed in orbit, therefore it can only have been there for a short time.
Before I became a Christian I was struck by the problem with dust from space which falls at a steady rate (40 tons per day http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cosmic_dust#cite_note-1, see 'Detection Methods'),
so if the Earth was billions of years old then there would have been a thick layer over the Earth, and the elements and metals from that dust would form a significant proportion of our planets surface and geology.
Oddly, however, they do not. For example there are only 140 million tons of Nickel on Earth, yet at the rate it is falling from space there should be billions, and 140 million only accounts for a few thousand years - the scientific conclusion is that the Earth is young.
That originally came to my attention because over billions of years the moon would have accrued several metres of dust, which is why the lunar landers were originally given huge paddle feet and a separate launcher (to give them a platform from which to lauch the return capsule after they had sunk into the dust), yet when they landed the dust was only 'scuff deep' (the words of one of the astronauts).
That iconic image of a footprint in the moon's dust is a glaring proof that the moon is only a few thousand years old, and that means we were created, just as the Good Book says! Incidentally, most of those astronauts are born again, and one of them sent a signed poster to a Bible College on which he had written:
